25 Craziest Publicity Stunts of All Time

For some people, there’s an invisible line between the lengths they will go to gain more publicity for themselves or the company they represent. Publicity can come at a cost and for some people, that cost is never too high.

Today I wanted to share a video that I found on YouTube that shares 25 of the craziest publicity stunts that have pulled off over the past few decades. Some of the culprits include large corporations like Red Bull, Guinness, and Taco Bell.

3 Big Reasons to Brand

So far here on Turbo Surfer I have spoken a lot on the subject of branding, and why a business should be branding itself online. It’s actually a pretty important topic though. Think about it: Most people always have their phone nearby so they will use it to perform a search.

This fact alone means that people do more searching online when they need a local business. Therefore, a business needs to build a brand online to compete with others in the same area in order to be one of the first businesses that customers see during search. Businesses without online brands won’t receive near as much visibility because they cannot even compete with the ones that do.

The goal of the search engines (including Facebook, YouTube, and Google,) is to deliver the user the most comprehensive and authoritative content on the subject they are searching for. Many factors contribute to what websites and business listings will be shown first as opposed to last, but a strong and consistent branding strategy is the key to achieving the most exposure.

The trend of online search is only going to grow as the years go by, so it really is becoming more important now than ever to grow a brand online. What My Marketing Mentor Taught Me About Branding

Happy Halloween!

In honor of the “holiday” I wanted to share some information that I have been learning lately that pertains to online business and growing a brand. If you didn’t already know, I’m studying sports marketing in attempt to grow a business of my own. So yeah, let’s jump right into it.

But first I suppose I should mention that I have finally found a mentor that has actually taught me some really great things so far. I’m really glad I was patient enough to wait for someone that was a good fit with me, and that shares the same vision that I do. Shout out to my awesome new mentor, Torri over at Revision Local!
